FIlament Info

I know 3d printed parts can have bad rep out in the market especially regarding strength.

I'm here to change that! I wanted to make a brief informative post on the filament/material we use for 90% of our parts.
  • We use PCTG which is basically PETG on steroids, and offers really good impact resistance, strength, warp resistance, layer adhesion, and printability. It also comes in a ton of different colors which is an added bonus.
  • Our PCTG material is made in the USA and is professional grade. The manufacturer we get our filament from incorporated more CHDM (cyclohexane dimethanol) which increases the impact toughness significantly compared to other PCTG on the market.
While this is not a replacement for injection molded parts or nylon. But it's pretty darn close and enables us to offer our parts at a more affordable price. We also offer a three month warranty on all parts, if you do break them, we'll replace them for free within three months.

For the remaining 10% of our parts - all of our skids (except mini) is professionally printed in Nylon via MJF (Multi Jet Fusion)
